On track

I managed to iron 22 of hubby's shirts yesterday and do 9 loads of laundry. Hubby folded one load while I made some cookie dough that needed to refrigerate over night.

I also made almost 4 dozen buckeyes (2 dozen for a client and the rest to give to neighbors and friends.) That and I cleaned the 2nd floor. I'm so energized by my 'to do list' having so many things crossed off. I have a bunch of baking today and a ham to make tomorrow. Tis the season!

To those who regularly read this blog, I wish I could send cookies your way as a form of 'thank you' and well wishes for your bloggy friendship!

Cookies.

Yes, cookies, Lioux. I don't use Girl Scouts in them so I don't know if you'll like them or not. *wicked smile*

Okay, what's a buckeye?
And don't tell me it's something a male deer sees out of.

LOL, funny you should say that. Until I was in my 20's I thought it was named after a male deer's eye. I felt so stupid when I learned that the name originated out of Ohio, the Buckeye state.

The cookie isn't baked. It's peanut butter mixed with butter, vanilla, salt and powdered sugar. Then you roll them in a ball, and use a tooth pick to dip it into melted chocolate. It's rich, creamy and delicious (unless you are allergic to peanut butter. LOL)

Ok, for some reason, my comment didn't post before...what I TRIED to say earlier was I'm all for cookies being mailed to me..especially buckeyes. I used to work w/ a gal from Ohio and she brought them to work last year...I had to physically move myself across the room so I would stop popping them into my mouth!

I'll take Buckeyes!!

Buckeyes are delicious.

I also made THE BEST recipe of Chocolate chip cookies today and Peanut Butter blossom. Add to that the chocolate mousse for the Chocolate tort and I think I'm on track. *sigh* I'm exhausted. I'm off to wrap gifts.

Breakfast of Champions, Lioux? *giggle*

YOU CAN MAIL COOKIES! Pack them securely and safely and overnight them straight to Chicago. I happen to be very deserving and share your name so I'm most important.

LOL!!!!
