Thanks! I carved these two. My daughter picked the spider one and helped mark the pattern. My son picked the skeleton pattern for me. Fun stuff!
I used to share my apartment with BFF Helene and her boyfriend. Around this time of year they would buy a gigantic pumpkin that we'd keep in a corner of the kitchen.
Her boyfriend would carve it on New Year's Eve and put it out, lit up, on a heavily travelled road in my town.
They now have their own home and grow their own pumpkins.
Do they still carve one on New Years Eve? Interesting and quirky.
Yes. They are awesome.
