What I find in the night
Every night we check on the kids. Every night we pull the comforter back to pull the sheets up, remove the toys from the bed and such. Last night when we pulled back my daughter's sheets this is what we found. We laughed our butts off. See there.... on her feet? Flip flops. One size too small. Ahhhh *snort* funny.

Clear toys from bed -- I thought only I did that! That's funny! The Helper used to roll over on them and wake himself up!
LOL no my daughter is the worst offender with this. She is quiet when she gets out of bed for them too, we call her the stealth. It's amazing what she would sleep around if mommy didn't remove the items.
I love the flip-flops! Hey, a girl's gotta have style even when she's asleep.

We do the same thing. Mateo is still in the crib so he's easy. AJ however sleeps with his toys. I go in everynight, reapply the blankets, pull out all the toys he collected after I tuck him in and stare at him for a few minutes. It's a great ritual.

No toys in the bed for me.. But I do occassionally wake up with a book under my head or my glasses stuck to the side of my face... May be some day I will have someone to check in on me *sigh*
